Strange though isnt it that no one has gone in for the Mout - if hes that good you would think he would have moved on by now - to a club in the CL - from what you read most of the big teams have scouts in Europe and certainly there is a lot of buissness done in that market.

I thought it was intresting that Ferguson has chosen to court Defour rather then someone like the Mout. Not saying i wouldnt like to have him here - but the fact that the most conreate intrest came from us almost two years ago, makes me think.

All it usually takes is Moyes to be interested and a grainy 60 sec youtube video of said person stretching in warmups for people like Rednapp to pop a boner and bid twice as much as whatever we had in mind.Could it be that he's just not that good?

After all we had the LescottBucks to purchase him and didn't give a thought. Maybe Moyes is just pissed, I wonder who he'll get to break his leg in the tie?

There both as bad mate!
They can be to be fair mate. And the truth is Madrid are connected to about 400 players a year. But there will generally have been some kind of positive reports from the scouts if there name appears. Michael Ball and Lescott were both on their radar, but there was no photo of either of them as there was with J M

I wish the word "Moutinho" was never spoken on here again.

He's not ever coming here.

EVER.

1) He'll cost us too much.

2) We don't need him now.

3) We've moved on.

Next.

1) How much is too much?
2) Since when did we NOT need creative midfielders?
3) How? Hes playing CL football, we aint, so maybe hes moved on.

1) 15M is too much in our financial situation
2) We've got Arteta
3) What's CL football got to do with Moutinho at Everton?

Any other questions?

re the big fella- im glad people are starting to see it. he has a superb first touch and plenty of energy- looking forward to seeing a fully fit mikel in next to him.

1) We paid £15m for Fellaini, so its surely not too much.
2) How many games has Arteta played this season? How many is he likely to play? Will he recover 100%?
3) You said we had moved on, I just pointed out that if anybody has moved on, its him.
4) Have you ever seen him play?

Anyway, its all pie in the sky, Moutinho plays for Sporting Lisbon, Fellaini plays for us. Moutinho and Fellaini are both completely different players.

His first touch has always been excellent, ball retention was the only talent I thought he had at times. But hes starting to look a player now.

I think a fully fit Arteta and a fully charged Fellaini would be some midfield. Stick Pienaar and erm, erm, Billy alongside, Saha, Yakubu upfront and we good to go.
