you sure you want to make statements like that? I know where you live..

Where were you when I needed you?

These poor bastards really believe their country makes better chocolate than the Belgians.(n):o

Poor Fellaini, 20 years long he was eating Belgian chocolate and there was nothing wrong with his teeth. One season in England and look what happens.

I knew it.

Apparently, Fellaini can't play the next fixture because of having a tooth out or because the Belgian FA says they need him more.

My answer to this- let him go to the dentist, we can get by saturdays oppostion without him, and put Cahill, Rodwell and Jo in the queue as well because it should be a breeze.

if Felliani is needed however, force him to watch Marathon Man and then there will be no dentist trip and he can play.

Three points on saturday, 'is it safe?'

'it's so safe you wouldn't believe it, very safe' b)

I don't really understand why the Belgian FA are so stubborn over this. It's not like the match is of major importance to them. If they had any chance to qualify, I could understand, but this is just ridiculous.

And surely the whole 5day period is in place to stop players faking an injurie to get out of international duty and then miraculosuly recovering in time to play for their club.

The Belgian FA can't think Fellaini is faking it can they? As its a genuine problem surely we can prove it.

That's because our internationals have/had a problem with discipline, lack of enthusiasm to play for their country etc. (you've probably read about it on here) often resulting in invoking an injury so they wouldn't have to play their international match, but then still playing for their club in the weekend. The Belgian FA allowed this to happen even though they could have used the 5-day rule. When Advocaat took over, he anounced he wouldn't allow this to happen anymore.
Belgian media reported that Fellaini decided on his own to have his tooth operated, but Advocaat didn't agree. This was last week.
On monday Fellaini said he couldn't get another appointment at the dentists for another two months :dodgy: so Advocaat gave Fellaini permission to go to the dentist, but under the 5-day rule of FIFA.
It's all Fellaini's fault.

Its a bit harsh IMO. So if a player gets injured or strain he can either accept a 5 match club ban or has to play?

And WTF has Belgian FA rules got to do with English FA rules?

Anyway -

Belgium boss Advocaat vows to fight Everton tooth and nail over Marouane Fellaini

Dick Advocaat vowed to fight Everton all the way over Marouane Fellaini's availability this weekend.

Belgium's chief executive Jean-Marie Philips revealed a fax would be sent to FIFA bosses in Zurich this morning, urging them to ban Fellaini from club football for the next five days after Fellaini took up a long-standing appointment on Monday to have wisdom teeth removed.

Philips claimed it was always their intention to delay notifying FIFA until match day, after Everton's £15million record signing pulled out of tonight's final World Cup qualifier in Estonia following dental surgery, and was adamant the decision would go their way.

Teething problems: Advocaat and Fellaini are on a collision course

Everton are just as confident of winning the argument, after releasing Fellaini for both group games against Turkey and Estonia, and have argued it is a misunderstanding that is none of their doing.

But, speaking from Tallinn, Philips said: 'We have received a response from Everton to the fax we sent them, but it makes no difference. We are sticking to our belief that we are in the right on this. FIFA will receive a fax from us in the morning, and the outcome should be that Fellaini will not be allowed to play on Saturday.'

Everton are understood to have sought advice from the English FA and are convinced their 21-year old midfielder will be cleared to play against Wolves after being reassured they fulfilled their obligations by making him available for both qualifiers

Cant see him playing anyway - an operation for the removel of wisdom teeth is a painfull one and there can be bad swelling.

I second this....Had my wisdom teeth about a year ago...the feckin dentist was kneeling on my chest to get leverage with his pliers!! I almost chinned him.

It is really painful afterwards, and I can't see Fellaini playing this Saturday anyway, its gonna take him at least 2 weeks to recover fully
so do your worst Belgium/Fifa it will make no difference anyway

Untill the swelling goes down your screwed. I couldn't eat properly for weeks coz I couldn't open my mount. I ended up shoving a towell in my mount to keep it open as much as I could and to soak up the blood.

mmmm belgian chocolates...lol

wot a load of cocodamol... looks like its a 4 4 2 then... saha an the yak up front billy left osman right cahill an rodwell centre same back 4 dont know wot all the fuss is about.. :P

From what I have read on SSN it sounds as though thee has been crossed lines between Advocat and Mo with us being the losers. The Belgian manager is an A1 Snide and he will enforce the rule, Mo should threaten to 'retire' from international duty while the Snide is manager, I bet there would be an instant change of heart from the Belgian FA:(
