Remember our horrible run of injuries starting around xmas last year? Atsu will get his chances no worries there. Our squad's not so massive that someone of his quality won't see the pitch. Keep in mind we might be playing 60 matches this season.

Only change I'd of like to have seen is Besic in for McCarthy, because the latter hasn't been playing to his usual standard. BUT, he was class for 30 odd games last year so he does deserve to play.

I'l be watching this with a pretty heavy heart today, guys. My dad, like me a Blue, died this morning of cancer. Just hope the lads can win this one.

Sympathise with you 100%. My dad always used to complain we never got last minute winners. He died 2 hours before the televised game against arsenal 7 years ago. What happened? Andy Johnson scores an injury time winner. Devine intervention? Hope your dad is looking down on an everton win. RIP.

...he'll get his chance. Slightly different with Delefeu in that he wasn't considered ready and soon after he was he got injured. Hopefully plenty of footy on a number of fronts, its up to him to take his chance when it arises.

Rom's been playing with a broken toe - ridiculous to play. Barrys ancient - should be rested. Atsu, Eto'o, Besic + Gibson need starts. Rather beat Palace on saturday.

Remember he'll have the ACON this year so we will be without him for quite a while, which Is why I'm surprised martinez isn't trying to give him more game time especially in the cup games.
