Farhad Moshiri, What Is Next?

Ermmmmm. It is?

Pretty sure the bald headed twonk is about to be sacked about 8 months late and replaced with someone new due to how catastrophic nearly every signing he made has been.
Everton constantly confuse and bemuse me, but why that helmet is still in a job blows my mind.

Sandro and Klaassen have had;

1. Koeman, who always maintained they'd be eased in/will take time.
2. Unsworth - a torrid run of games an he wouldn't take any risks.
3. Allardyce - Is Sam Allardyce, desperately trying to get the gig for next season - openly admits to not being able to risk.

I dont think we should write either off yet.

For me, both Sandro an Klaassen should be given a clean slate under any new manager coming in. Their stock isnt going to fall any lower than what it currently is...

..my problem with Sandro in particular is that he has looked very ordinary when i’ve watched him. Playing him up front in games meant the ball kept coming back. The only plus i’ve seen is that he hits a ‘heavy ball’ but I don’t see him challenging the likes of Sigurdsson for game time.

Klaassen has shown a few glimpses of quality in the EL (first time passes to Rooney and DCL) but keeping him would depend on what system we play. The team desperately lacks athleticism and Klaassen won’t address the lack of pace and power problems. Also, he’s not a runner with the ball, he tends to offload quickly which is fine if that fits with others. This team particularly lacks players who can run with the ball from central areas, Klaassen can’t do that.

We have a squad of individuals who don’t compliment each other, who don’t fit a team strategy. We need players who fit the way the new manager/DoF want to play.

Please tell me how you sack an owner, I still believe Moshiri is a big player in EFC future, we need to remember what is was like before he came here, no money to spend, unable to even think of buying second class players never mind good players. I also believe it was other peoples advice when making decisions like managerial appointments and I think he will have learnt by his mistakes. Give him a chance please.

Kinda agree with Dave there Goatfrand, we can't keep Jags and Baines hanging around any longer
They're stinking the place out. Someone needs to come in and throw open a window...and them out of it.

Couple of frauds cheating the club.

As much is needed on the non football side. Hopefully with Bob on the way out, perhaps other board members too, there will be progressive appointments to manage the club in a professional business like manner, something we've not had for some time.
Reinvigorating and reinforcing the identity, utilising the PL brand and appeal, clarity, reassurance are all needed from the very top, we've been amateurish in that regard for too long. Poor sponsorship deals, partnerships etc all portray the club in a poor light and certainly have an affect even to who would consider the managers post. We appointed Allardyce ffs, Sam Allardyce, other football supporters find that a source of amusement.
A strong Chief exec would send out a pointer to how serious Moshiri is about his 'project' and would certainly help attract a good prospect of a manager.
I think that is as important as any of the other points. From that the other points will come and a solid plan for progress and development of the club could be put in place.
My fear is another 'insider' appointment that would continue the cosy club within a club of backslapping buffoons and amateurs.

Surely if the appointment was to come from outside there would have to be a lengthy hand over period regarding the football side of things and also the stadium project My guess it's between baxendale and Alexander Ryazantsev which seems a missed opportunity

5. GOD YES + Baines and Jagielka.
Sad,sad day if they ever leave: Blue Chrimbo activities won't be the same without Bainsey (head elf) and Capt Jags (Blue Santa). I can just about accommodate the calls for Tubby Ashley to go, (his role as the fat pixie who scoffs full English breakfasts could probably be replaced by Wazza), but Bainsey and Capt Jags' departure would gut the pantomime cast and really put a downer on Blue Chrimbo. I don't think Blue Bill will permit this to happen.

Back and front ends of a pantomime horse those two.

I'd chase them with sharpened sticks and belt the pair of them all the way out of town.

Maybe it's my optimism that tells me once Bob's exit was mooted that discussions and recruitment began, the way we hope has happened with the managers position.

..i can imagine there’ll be a huge queue of clubs clambering for McCarthy’s signature with a double leg break. I think it’s more important to get the likes of Klaassen and Sandro off the books, both on long-term deals and huge salary but neither play any part on the pitch. The likes of Williams and Rooney do not have much time left on contracts, we might have to put up with them a bit longer.

Apparently he is targeting pre season and will be back to grass running in 3 weeks. According to an interview with him at the supporters club awards night tonight) Obviously, we won’t shift him this summer but could line up a January move. Or, fingers crossed as I rate him, he can stay fit and be decent in our midfield as he undoubtedly has talent.

If he is serious about running a football club he has to be the boss. That means cleansing the club. Replacing the Chairman, with himself and buying up the remaining major shareholders.

Additionally, appointing a CEO with a ruthless determination to rid the club of its amateurish, "peoples club" moniker. And finally gutting the club of the unambitious mediocrity that has infested the club like a cancer. Would enable Everton to compete with the top 4 again.

Or if he's interested in selling up after the stadium is completed, for a hefty profit and at the same time, burdening the club with debt. He'll just carry on as is.

I think there will be disappointment if people expect a clean sweep within a few weeks.

I do think we will get a new manager and DOF.

It may take longer to fill the CEO role - the person will be in work themselves and might have to go on gardening leave. It’s not ideal but I expect DBB to be given the job on an acting basis, probably until the end of the year. As long as that’s all it is.

Kenwright will stay on for another year at least. I don’t think Moshiri will want complete change all at once, even if change is desirable.
