Is it not possible to change around your squad at this stage? Picked my squad about 2-3 weeks ago and now all I can do is just use subs, and I have like 5 players now injured and even with 4 subs I can't replace them all, this is bs.

Can't leave out Besic for 5m right? surely not given he'll probs start with Ross out

He's a defensive minded midfielder. Not likely to get you many goals/assists.
Factor in the fact he's not played in the Premier League before and that he's unlikely to be starting for a while - even if Barkley is injured, and yes you can.
Find a £5m attacking midfielder in a poorer side who will play every week. Or spend £5.5 on Ashley Young

So best to play formation with less defenders and more attackers then?

9 out of 10 times, yes. 3-5-2 is usually the most profitable in my experience.

It varies really. I'd say 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 will be best this season.

But don't underestimate the effect of clean sheets. All hinges on what kind of season it is -- if it's anything like the world cup then defenders will be useless!
