Fans leaving early

It happens in all games everywhere. The most televised games are in the PL. Watch how many empty seats there are after half time opposite the camera until maybe 55 minutes and then the exodus from all sides before full time. I go to most games and the same happens in Upper Bullens at full time. The usual 4 or 5 around me depart early in every game regardless of the score. Just people's habits, not always a lack of commitment.

No idea where you've sat in the Park End, but I've sat in PE4 for 26 years, and not once have I, or anybody around me sat down for a corner.

I presume you're near the back? I don't have an issue with not standing up before a corner as then you're blocking people's views of the games and there's obviously more families in there.

When the camera is panned at that end in difficult moments of the game there never looks like any singing, encouragement or riposte to what the away fans are doing and unless it's an iconic screamer like Doucs v Bournemouth everyone just seems so slow to get up when Everton goals are scored right infront of them.

Where are the away fans going to be at BMD? Stuck in a corner or side of a touchline stand as now or will they get half of behind the goal from the corner as tends to happen at West Ham, Spurs and Arsenal.

What I hate about the new Wembley the most, that corporate bit above the dugouts is still half empty five minutes after the second half starts. Go back to cup finals in the 90s and Wembley would be packed at least half an hour before kick off. Now for many teams the cup final is just another game and new Wembley contributes to that.

I genuinely couldn't be any more central to the PE. Row Z.

I've been in a few of the stands now, not the Lower Bullens, but the others, and the only one I've ever noticed a real difference in was the Main Stand. (Somebody got a Steward to threaten chucking me out if I kept on being too loud. Gods honest truth.)

The away fans are North East corner.

ye dont get it, to beat the traffic? anyone who drives the game is doing it worng anyway

you never leave a football game early, because pandeomonium can erupt at any moment

Did it very early back in 2009 , first game of the season 1-6 Arsenal , left at 0-4 , think Arteta saw read for elbowing Fabregas .

I went for a wee and couldn't get back up the steps as there were too many people rushing down, I thought they must have seen something telling. Not to mention that horrible lot were singing that they'd won the league so I 180'd out the ground and it made me sad.

Heard the roar and everyone else trudging away thought that was too loud to be them lot, a fella pulls over in the car winds his window down and says Tarkowski's scored. Cue bedlam in the streets with strangers. It wasn't in the ground but it's now a funny story and my own fault for leaving early. I'll live with it, I wouldn't be able to if it was a winner...
