Been saying the same myself for a long time as well. The thing is, we might still sign a loan or a bosman in the window, but that should not obscure the fact that Arteta (and probably Beckford as well) were sold to appease the banks. There was a strong rumour going around last spring that the banks were calling in the debt and wanted £10m pronto, and this has come to pass. If any player comes in during this window it should not detract from the fact that the future is very bleak to say the least. We are going to be selling our best young players for the foreseeable future. Better get used to it. Yes it's that bad under this lot.

Actually it's even worse than "not having any money to spend" - As far as I am concerned Moyes wants knighting for staying - anyone else with his record would have walked in the past few days.

Furthermore isn't it normal for Chairmen to resign when they've mislead the board.

Didn't Ferguson say quality players are not available in January? It's not like we have any Europa games to offer, and my understanding is that the money saved on paying Arteta just got shifted over to Fellaini's take home.
We should finish top half, we will have hopefully cut our overheads and paid off some of the wolves at the door, and I strongly suspect a sizable clearout in the summer. Unless Bily goes this Jan and Moyes brings another out of contract in the summer in to have a look at...

This may not be true in the slightest, but i have heard that there is a Billionaire Earl or something on the board. Too stingy to chip in a couple million?

Its a pity we cannot ask them if they have faith in us. They clearly don't.

If we can turn this on its head for a moment, why don't they think the fans have the best interest in the club & its future? They have to know that we want a successful, stable club. They would be the only ones who want a profitable one. Profit being that which goes into their pockets.

If they were serious about the financial situation, and had been honest & inclusive with all the fans, perhaps the solution would present itself & the fans would get behind them. Sadly, I feel that by excluding us & our opinions, they have lost any chance of the fans trusting their judgement any further.

In my Glass half full world this is what I think and is probably the best we can expect!! Agree completely on Arteta and Felli as well!

That ballbag won't even pay his taxes, let alone give Everton money. He's not on the board, either AFAIK.

Edit: I'm thinking of Phillip Green. He's the tax-dodger.

Our board just don't have a clue how to run a footie club , bill gets the stick but each and everyone one of them should clear off lie after lie

They have no interest in the club or fans and constantly lie to us yet some people still love kenrite and the board, weird world.
The only way something might happen is us getting relegated then the greedy board would panic as our stock diminishes.
I just hope we dont end up giving up as what happened to leeds beause looking at the players they are miles off what they can give.
