F1 (2026)

Huge crash in the Bathurst 12h this weekend, terrible race control as well, driver crawled from his car onto a partially live track and lay down, albeit under yellow... should have been a red flag straight away and they apparantly weren't initially waving yellows for the stalled cars (apart from at a point in the track where its too late to do anything about it)

Aftermath

Great track, but absolute death trap, especially if they're not going to marshall it properly. No suprise to see an incident like that tbh.

This doesn’t sound good. Alonso saying he can’t do more than 25 laps due to the vibrations potentially damaging his hands

Honda c 2014 saying "no-one can mess up the start of a new engine reg better than us!" and Honda 2026 replying "Hold my beer"...

Absolutly shocking the mess they/AM are in. Alonso must be wondering what he did in a previous life :o

This guy makes some very good content, probably the best F1 channel on youtube

Interesting, though overly pessimistic in my view, especially the DRS trains bit, which he's completely mis-read/understood I think.

Best channels for me are The Race and F1Unchained:

Also P1 are good fun, and Tommo's quite good. Peter Windsor's channel is also worth watching for his analysis from ex-industry experts.

And Scarbs! Never miss Peter and Scarbs with the technical breakdown.

I’m just happy there are very good reasons to watch F2 and F3 this year

Freddie Slater in F3 (generational prospect)
Colton Herta in F2 (Big name Indycar driver arguably moving backwards in his career in the hope of getting into f1 with Cadillac)

Peter Windsor is an odd one, lots of experience but has a bit of a grifter vibe going and has been involved with several shady characters/deals over the years like the infamous rich energy sponsorship of Haas.

Knowledgable guy but also a premium grade waffler.

Yeah, feel similarly. Shame really cos those two have so much knowledge/experience between them.
