F1 (2026)

Not a bad race for Suzuka, Russell and Piastri lucked out with the safety car but`s that how it goes. Antonelli looked quick all weekend to be fair and is likely well in Russell`s head now.

Gasly is going well this season and would be really lively in a top team.

Max`s moaning is getting dull now, either get on with it like everyone else had to do when you were dominating race in race out or go do something else .

I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say Hamilton's resurgence is going to be short-lived, expect him to have a better season than last but can see Leclerc going back to finishing ahead of him on a regular basis.

Leclerc was quicker all weekend, and would have been well clear in qualifying without the 2-3 tenths lost coming out of spoon

As for the race, thought it was pretty good by Suzuka's low standards. It's usually up there with the worst races of the season, if this turns out to be one of the worst races then that's a positive.

Great result for Kimi, i hope he keeps this form up. The Mercs are well clear in clean air but they can have their races compromised in a big way on tracks like this where dirty air slows you down so much.
I'm not sure just yet. Seeing how it goes in the next few races, but he just seemed really slow on the straights in particular, perhaps how the car was set up, but I'm not sure.

It'll be interesting to see how upgrades and developments shape the order up. Strangely, Ferrari and Red Bull had upgrades, but appeared worse off, yet McClaren took a step up without upgrades. So I think it may ebb and flow between teams and drivers at different circuits.

Usually I would be right with you with this, I can't stand Verstappen, but I do believe he has a point. Whether he would feel the same way if it was him on the top step of the podium would be the question.
He did say after the first race, that he wouldn't find it fun, even if he was winning. Even if it's true or not, I doubt he'd consider leaving if he was still on top, or competing for wins.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Sulky little brat, just because he isn’t in the fastest car this year.

Let the petulant toerag go.

He isn't the only one. He's just the most vocal.

leclerc, Norris, Alonso all absolutely hate it.

A quick glance on Autosport forum also tells you the fans hate it too.

It's a massive issue for F1 i'm afraid. The best driver of the generation walking away... not because of age or ability either

Verstappens race engineer, Lambiase set to join McLaren as head of race engineering from 2028.

Verstappen has previously said he wouldn't want to be in F1 if he wasn't his race engineer, so worth keeping tabs on that situation, to see how it plays out
