Bearman is in rough shape
Can understand Russell's frustration but he's being a bit of a bell complaining about his luck when Bearman is in the wall. Maybe there was a radio message where he checked on him and we just haven't heard it but not a great look on the face of it.
Oh really, really poor Oscar on the restart. Completely asleep.
I know it can't be helped, but that safety car completely ruined what was turning out to be a really promising race.
Antonelli completely undeserving yet will win by about 20 seconds now—taking a second a lap over Piastri.

Leclerc with a great overtake on Hamilton
Bittersweet race for Oscar. Would likely have gone on to win it, completely outside of his control dropped behind the Mercedes and had no chance at all from there. At least he's got some good points today and can start his season now.
At least we have a little battle towards the end between Leclerc and Russell.

Antonelli did get lucky with the safety car but it happens and he just cruised away. Great race by Oscar though, especially after the start to the season they've had. Leclerc did really well to hold onto third too.

I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say Hamilton's resurgence is going to be short-lived, expect him to have a better season than last but can see Leclerc going back to finishing ahead of him on a regular basis.
Leclerc was quicker all weekend, and would have been well clear in qualifying without the 2-3 tenths lost coming out of spoon
As for the race, thought it was pretty good by Suzuka's low standards. It's usually up there with the worst races of the season, if this turns out to be one of the worst races then that's a positive.
Great result for Kimi, i hope he keeps this form up. The Mercs are well clear in clean air but they can have their races compromised in a big way on tracks like this where dirty air slows you down so much.
