So, so stupid. You'd expect that of Bottas, not Hamilton. Probably the worst thing he's ever done in an F1 car.

From his reaction he just missed the braking point...by about a mile.

Was just a radio call about a 'Magic' setting that he knocked on that probably contributed/caused it by the sounds of things.

He had the lead. Race was basically his. Didn't look like he broke any latter than the guys around him.

He was fully alongside prior to braking so at that point he had to go for it, it wasn't late braking or a dive bomb. The lockup was huge as well so makes sense it was a brake setting.

Race of the season for me that. Full of drama and class racing. Makes it better when I really like all three of the podium.

Hamilton, despite his 3 wins so far, is having a far from flawless season, just when - or probably more because of - the pressure of the challenge from Max Verstappen this season is putting him under the spotlight.

Threw away valuable points today and, worse, failed to capitalize on his opponent's terrible misfortune.

The margins between hero and zero are sometimes fine in this sport, but I feel that he's in the most fierce battle and just cannot afford these mistakes.
