I hope merc have put out of their minds the fastest lap, given some of their cracking decisions I can see them so concentrating so hard on getting an extra point they lose the race!

TBH I'm not really that fussed about the FL point. Today was job well done.

Hamilton just needs to win both remaining races.

We all know what is coming first corner in Abu Dhabi.

(If Hamilton wins SA and Max finishes 2nd and then Lewis puts it on pole and looks significantly faster in AD)

The grid penalty ensured that Hamilton had an easy lights to flag win today. Although he was the fastest driver today, Verstappen could have made his life very difficult if he had somehow managed to get ahead at the start.


Great drive from Max today. Got everything out of the package underneath him and was definitely a superb damage limitation drive.
