This track looks like carnage. Barriers that close to high speed parts of the track.

I don't necessarily think that this sort of circuit design will lead to more crashes - Baku and Singapore aren't especially notorious in this regard. However, the consequences of crashing here are higher than elsewhere.

Max straight on it in FP1, not that times mean much but always nice to start positive

Leclerc has just had what looks to be a huge crash, thank god he got out because that first shot looked ominous.

Baku could have been really bad for Verstappen this year.

If his car had veered left with the blowout he'd had gone into the end of pit wall.
