Dunno how they managed to lock out the front row yesterday, but this is a critical race. Mexico is an absolute must-win for Hamilton.

If he can pull it back to 6 or 7 points then with 4 races to go it is still anyone’s championship.

But if Max wins and extends his lead to 18 or 19 points then his chances shoot up to 90% and he’s almost certainly champion baring any bad luck in the final few races.

Bottas had one job, he could have hung Max out to dry on the outside, braked even later forcing him to go way out of track limits. Pffff.

Once Hamilton was level off the start Bottas should have been under instruction to block the outside lane for Verstappen. Instead he cut across to head off Hamilton then stayed in no man's land and gave Verstappen the free pass.

No team orders at all evident. So either the team and/or Bottas incompetence.
