Perez has looked on it today so could be Red Bull 1-2 which is a huge switch up from FP1 yesterday. Maybe Merc turn their engines up now and go beast mode, not convinced though.

I don’t get why Verstappen was so upset at this. He was driving at a snail’s pace, but as soon as he saw Hamilton he floored it.

It’s the equivalent of overtaking a middle lane hogger on the motorway only for them to speed up as soon as you attempt to pass.

He was getting ready for a qualifying type run so Hamilton basically ruined that lap. However he could have just stayed behind Lewis to prevent that situation from happening.

The Red Bull suddenly look rights on the money again, and Hamilton's got his work cut out today. He's going to need to pull something special out of the bag if he wants to beat Verstappen today. He absolutely cannot afford to drop behind Perez either at the start or at any stage, of the race, really. Still, he's Lewis Frickin Hamilton... if anyone can do it then he can.

Toto confirms that they've had to dial back the rear suspension trickery for reliability reasons.

We are going to find out a lot about Verstappen's temperament in the next hour or so. I think the Red Bull is the faster car. It should win the race on pace.. but they need to get ahead somehow, either on track or executing an undercut.
