F.A. Cup success....or CL finish?

CL for me for the exposure and money, but can't be a 1 off appearance, then is just a waste of time needs be done on a consistent basis

CL for the financial windfall it could bring. Getting into the CL is hard, staying there is easier...comes down to money really.

CL qualification brings us a financial windfall, allows us to buy ace players, allows us to continue to push higher in the league table, allows us to find an investor, allows us to build and ace new stadium...etc, etc, etc.

Like last time?!

It's a shame. The FA cup to me is still the most sought after prize after the Premiership trophy. It has to be that way. I think it's a shame the way a lot us now will give up on the greatest cup competition for a CL spot, you don't need to explain your reasons and tell me the benefits, I already know. I know how prestige the CL is and yes I do want to be apart of it but It saddens me to see teams think about playing weaker sides in the FA Cup, it's a shame. There is nothing better than the road to Wembley and the FA need to do something to bring some magic back to the FA Cup because all teams these days are interested in is finishing fourth. It should only be the top 2 from each division, not the top 4.

If we finish 4th yes it's a great achievement as it is hard to accomplish but if we finish 4th and go out easy in the FA Cup I wouldn't be very happy.

Can people see my point?

How I wish for the this.
When CL place nailed down with five matches still to play I will relax and hope to enjoy us stuffing Moyes United in the Cup final

Champions League... but ONLY if 3rd, so we get 6 guaranteed games rather than a dodgy qualifying round with a hot-balled draw and a bent ref

I'd take FA Cup over 4th

For the last decade I'd have said the FA Cup in a heartbeat, but Champions League money would ensure the club would continue to grow under El Bob.

FA cup this year, Champs League next year. Would give us time to improve and make sure we don't get spanked 5-0 by Benfica again.

I was driving home from work recently and there was a debate on what fans found more exciting , fa cup final day or transfer deadline day , majority went for the latter and I thought that really sad . Shows really I guess how sky has manipulated us .
Fa cup final day was great when the bbc started at half past nine in the morning and the day was a real occasion .
