Thank you Sir.

Consistency and respect for those of us watching up at god knows early hours in the morning is all I ask.

Listening to 606 last night got me thinking. A Manure fan said they'll come upstuck in the FA Cup.

I dont think Manure will win all the trophies they're in. They have a good team, but compared to the team that won the treble, its not as good IMO.

The league they'll most likely get but one of the two that might slip away are Champions League and the FA Cup.

It'll be rock hard for us. But if lady luck is shining down on us I think that, based on the law of averages, we can get a result in the FA Cup.

Either that or they'll just smash everything or get knocked out the Champs League.

it's on a sunday afternoon in london. why the **** isn't the all london affair on a sunday and give the northerners a chance to watch the game and get back to work on a monday.

for the love of god switch it to a saturday.

It also means that there were will be a **** load of mancs, scousers and cockneys in London on friday, saturday and sunday night.

Saturday night down the west end should be nice . I am going down with my bird and stopping at her brothers in Bromley . Fcuk going on the train . They have already put their prices up (n)

Last time I went down there on the train for the 95 cup final . The bright sparks that are the London Transport Police put both Everton & United supporters on the SAME train back . This after a little Everton firm tried to ambush United at Euston . So what do the coppers do ? It got as far as Watford before it went off :D

i went there twice in last two years with Exeter City (dont ask) there is nothing there. Pubs all shut after the game, no boozing on the tube anymore, more than likely you'll get searched on your way on to the tube if you're getting on at the main stations....which all in all, is pish.

I get the hollow feeling that all of us will need a drink to watch this :(

Im so gutted

After 18 months of saving up, 2 weeks ago I booked my holiday to Fuertevntura with the family on..................15th April (n)

Ive been to every home game this season including cup games and 50% of the away matches.

My missus was pissed I am even considering not going on holiday.

What shall I do ? :(

I also think you should save you're money for the final-
Me and my misus get back from Venezuela on the the 18th april -we booked it months ago - well chuffed the game is on Sunday -

I've seen the blues 37 times and they have NEVER lost ( 12 of these games were in the mid -80s tho) I've been to every FA cup game this season and will be there for the final - COYBs!!
Just hope my luck sticks out....

I was unable to be at the '95 final but was there ten years earlier. In fact, if you drew a mental line between Neville Southall and my seat, Norman Whiteside was was bang on that line when he let fly! :(

Who else was at that game?

bet your hat fits now as well:lol: i have one of those like brand new from back then, i wouldnt wear my blue one now as it has something unsavoury written on it about the mancs, which was quite common then but i feel unsuitable now, although my mum lent it to my gran to go see billy graham at goodison whilst i was abroad.

I remember wearing my '85 Everton/Watford flat cap whilst watching a cup match against Wimbledon on TV. I can't remember which year but as we won the game it obviously wasn't the glorious '88 final

I was promoting a snooker-dice game I invented/designed/whatever at the time and was at a ladies snooker event in Leicester. As the game was about to start a voice behind me called out 'I hope that's not a Wimbledon hat?' I simply took off the hat and held it up, showing the Everton crest.

'Don't let the London accent fool you, Willie,' says I!

Come to think of it I remember thinking at the time that even though Willie Thorne's great mate, Gary, had left the Blues a season or two before, he still wanted us to win, so I reckon it must have been the 89/90 - quarter final I think - that I think we won 1-0

Just found this site which confirms my suspicions (y) FA Cup Finals

I was at the Man Utd game with my dad :(
I was also at the 89 Cup Final with my dad and brother who are Reds . We was in the Everton end but they still danced around like loons when they scored and when they lifted the trophy . I wanted to boot them up the arse but refrained :P
