They should be punished but they will not be...thats the sad reality. It will be a telling off and at worst some kind of fine...they have too much power but they just seeing that even with that much power you cannot go against the 80% of the entire football community.

Find it staggering that highly successful business people appear to have underestimated public opinion to such an extent that their grand plan worth billions has folded 2 days after it launched. If you wanted an example of the disengagement between the owners of these clubs and their fan base then you won’t ever get a better one.

The stance taken by our club over this has been spot on and whilst we may not have reached the levels we want on the pitch yet I am very proud to be a supporter of Everton Football Club tonight
