Strongest age group for a long long time i reckon.
I hope they allow these lads to grow together as a group and not start putting them in the first team squad the minute a couple of them start making a few headlines.
Let them grow together as a squad, let them learn a winning mentality together as a squad.
Then a group of them can make that step up - together

That's never going to happen unfortunately. Whoever has a few good games will be declared too good for that level and elevated straight to the seniors

WC too soon for some of them, but wouldn't be surprised if that group makes up a good portion of the Euro squad in '20.

whats happened to that mathis bloke we signed?

He is of course French, not sure if he's in any of their Youth sides but he hasn't featured in the U23s PL squads so far, neither has the other youngster we signed Markelo. Early days of course maybe both finding their feet as Unsy juggles teams, Bowler, Gibson and Donkor have all started at least one game so far.
Based purely on what I saw in his England U17s performances, Lewis Gibson is the signing of the summer in this group. Only saw him at left back, never seen him in an Everton shirt but a huge amount of ability and the physical presence and size that if he continues to grow will make him a good centre back too. Vault me when we loan him to Accrington Stanley.
