Everton Youth Teams Thread

Strange that Chelsea are releasing him if he has England credentials
Probably a mix between England camps being Chelsea biased, Chelsea spending 60 million on other teenage left backs and Chelsea just being far and away better than the rest of the country at academy level and having the biggest youth pool
Strange indeed , it’s down to me and a normally reliable source , could be wrong . We’ll likely know before but latest will be “ Meet the Scholars “ announcement in July.
He's definitely leaving, Chelsea Youth mentioned it yesterday - after you, not that I didn't believe you

Feel like we've gotten loads of live games this year.
To be fair they tend to do put most of the U21's live. Sometimes it's not as feasible due to venue which is fair enough (who wants to watch something from ground level!)

Ignoring Darren Griffith on commentary, the coverage of u21's has been pretty good I think.

Allows us to see Braiden Graham properly, absolutely finisher that kid, just needs some bulking up. Be a bit a safeguarding issue putting him in mens football just now.

he played mens football at 15 with no issues (albeit at far lower level)

Nah past few seasons we have had very few livestream games. I was very vocally angry about it most weekends

Ofcourse but it's still not the level.

He's a WONDERFUL talent, he's clearly one of the best young finishers the academy have had for a while. He's just very, very sleight for me. I think he may be eaten alive if he's given the game time some people want him to have. His talent is so obvious to see if but again, just my opinion I think it would be too early for him.

*I think it also shows just how much a ridiculous "man" Rooney was at 16. Like, absolutely insane for a 16 year old to be that strong (and quick).
