Do we twin with Port Vale or something? I legit don’t even know where that is in the country
Robbie country . Stoke on Trent .Do we twin with Port Vale or something? I legit don’t even know where that is in the country
They’re in Burslem , Stoke , a scary place best avoided. I was there once, coached attacked by fans and a bunch of Stoke fans had turned up to taunt the Port Vale fans. My brother said he considered himself working class until he drove through Burslem and decided he’s really middle class.Do we twin with Port Vale or something? There's a few places around Stoke that are like that. I used to deliver around this part called Silverdale. Really grim. One street of 20 houses had 15 boarded-up. Broken lawnmowers & couch's littering the road. There was even an old Ford Granada winched up one house, all wheels off the ground, rear bumper facing the sky & headlights touching the floor. Good times...They’re in Burslem , Stoke , a scary place best avoided. I was there once, coached attacked by fans and a bunch of Stoke fans had turned up to taunt the Port Vale fans. Nippy winters there.

Just waiting for that Reece Welch news now...
We talk a lot in this thread about how impressive Graham’s footballing brain is, and Clarke is almost the exact opposite end of the spectrum, just pure raw athleticism and power, not much for vision or decision making (at least not yet). An interesting dichotomy.Clarke is a bit of an enigma, cruises past people with his pace at this level, but head down didn’t look up to pass to wide open players , kept on going , crunched a tackle , ball fell to Loney , 0-2. Then he looked up threaded a great ball to the left leading to 3rd goal.
Interesting that Pita was playing 8 with Wren/ Clarke wide, three different positions at least recently, good experience for him.
