Hopefully we are in a better position next year and are able to be attractive to any promising scholarNsangou and Olayiwola look like the next two to get excited about. Though with Nsangou playing 2 yrs up will probably make it a nervy next year for Everton before he signs a scholar.
I would imagine playing Nsangou up so early is part of this , letting him see there’s an early pathway. The bits I’ve seen of him he’s got a wicked left foot but is apparently two footed, a great attribute to have in a young striker . He scored a couple of goals for our u15s a week ago out in a tournament in Cyprus.Hopefully we are in a better position next year and are able to be attractive to any promising scholar

15 year old Jonathan Nsangou making his u18 debut, nice .
Indeed , it’s always hard to tell at 15 but Nsangou looks a reasonable size, not massive like Simms/Sherif though.….its a massive physical step up, I remember playing representative football at 15 and they always played against older age groups. I hated it.
Saying that, I walked into Bellefield one Saturday morning and saw a 15 year old Wayne Rooney playing for U18s, that was unforgettable.
Yet most unlikely to make it there. Would never understand why go to a club like that knowing fairwell that they will spend millions getting the big players anyhow. I know city had a few coming through and to be fair guardiola does give youngsters a chance but still.I watched highlights of both clubs 1/4 final Youth Cup wins , some very talented young players in those teams.
I think he played in the opening Bradley Moore game against Wigan? But in league play I think you’re right. Great to see15 year old Jonathan Nsangou making his u18 debut, nice .
Golden boot in the tournament as well. Him and Doughty the pick of the litter without surpriseI would imagine playing Nsangou up so early is part of this , letting him see there’s an early pathway. The bits I’ve seen of him he’s got a wicked left foot but is apparently two footed, a great attribute to have in a young striker . Not sure about that mate, I don’t recall Nsangou at all from that game .I think he played in the opening Bradley Moore game against Wigan? But in league play I think you’re right. Great to see

Yep , sorry my memory is going ! I remember we mentioned him pre match then he came on very late as 24. A nice touch, if he has the talent he’s believed to have this “ memory “ may just help us keep him …..there again , once agents get involved.Think he came on at the end of the game
