Went under the radar for me but Djankpata has been called up to the Benin men's squad. Was on the bench yesterday against Gana Gueyes Senegal. Didn't get on unfortunately.
Good spot, I’m presuming he’s signed the pro contract he’s been offered but i haven’t seen anything. I see he was born in Togo so don’t understate Benin connection.
I seem to remember him being labelled as Italian at one point too so he either has an interesting family tree or they moved about a lot in his youth or perhaps both!

It’s a shame Hosie wasn’t good enough as a right back, there was a clear path ahead of him. I remember at about 16 he was featuring in the same Wales youth teams as Astley, Rhys Hughes and Liam Higgins and getting good reviews .

Haven't seen loads of him tbh, can't remember him playing many 21s games yet. But from what I have seen he plays mostly as a 10. The main thing that stood out for me was how dirty he was tbh, he's either snide or clumsy but I'd have to watch more to decide. He should be stepping up to the 21s this season so we'll all get to see him soon.
