One I’d put down to Paul Tait’s influence. Seb Quirk was going nowhere at u18 then we tried to convert him to right back and he was poor. Switching him back to midfield he improved dramatically this season and good enough to play in League 1. Good luck to him.

The 50-100k they might have got is basically nothing to a PL club anyway, even one as badly run as us.
