Weird, he was appearing in every game for them the last few months but hardly doing well enough for lampard to want to use him.

Weird indeed. It’s headlined “ recalled by u21s” , and I’m not sure what that means as the u18s have I’d say 3 or 4 players who we should at least try at u21s before we need Onyango back as the u21s are in a comfortable league position. Garner is on his way back too, so Onyango unlikely to to get on the bench. There was a suggestion that we had a sale lined up but even with our finances that seems a poor decision even though he’s miles away from the first team.

Must be going on loan elsewhere. He was in and out of the Burton side initially, but has had a decent run lately iirc.
