The thing with the youth league is while it's a general indication of strength, the team winning it is not necessarily the strongest, as the better U18s probably spend most of their time playing for the U21s. So at this level it's more about performance than results. From what I understand yesterday's game we played much better and are generally just stronger at this level at the moment than the vast majority.

The signs are good for the future.

.....I always think the FA Youth Cup is a proper indicator of whether you have a diamond or two. Teams that win it (or get to the final) often have a future star.
