Warrington excellent again. Calm and assured, uses the ball well and unlucky not to score. At the very least he should go on to have a decent career in the game.

19 , his first year out of the u18s age group, a very disciplined performance again, he makes our midfield tick.

After watching these lads in action I feel Lampard could get the best out of these lads

He's a tidy player who has good positional sense and can distribute the ball around the pitch, something the 1st team is sorely lacking.
And he's nowhere near getting a chance for the 1st team

And yet Onyango has had two or three goes in the first team and Warrington hasn’t been on the bench even, something very wrong there. Warrington has the look of a young Colin Harvey to me, don’t want to put the mockers on him though!!

Patterson’s performance was the best by a young right back in our U23s for many years. We haven’t had a “ proper” right back come through , instead we‘ve tried converting midfielders like John and Quirk without ever addressing the problem and buying in an 18/19 year old who could be developed. Hopefully he will go on to fill that first team right back position for years to come.
