Rollo Tomassi
Player Valuation: £20m
An excellent start to the weekend just need a Lukaku winner tomorrow and 3 points on Sunday to top it off.
Deserved the win but slightly flattering scoreline. Lots of praise for Gray and Feeney.
yes i've seen some on here say feeney has no chance but hes always impressed me and seems to get better near every time i see him.
Who's said that? Morons if they have; he's a proper defender. Might not be flashy enough for the modern PL game but neither is someone like Ben Mee and I think he's really good.
can see garbutt getting a 2nd yellow if hes not careful
Diaz alone with Foden is one of City’s. “ wonderkids”, PL ready etc, I think Garbutt is doing well against him. Duhaney , no2 , is a cracking player.
Yep said same at half time about Feeney. It’s his physical size that’s often held against him, but if your deemed good enough to captain a very good U23 team at 18 you must have something. And sometimes the opposite thinking holds true - the big physical guys who can dominate at Youth level get found out in men’s football and those who develop good positioning and defensive thinking when young thrive as they grow physically .yes i've seen some on here say feeney has no chance but hes always impressed me and seems to get better near every time i see him.

Think there u18s are classed as there golden generation but really hard to see there pathway to the first teamEverton u18s are away to sunderland u18s saturday with a 12.30pm ko,looking for there 5th win in a row at sunderland,Everton so far this season have 2 wins,2 draws,2 defeats from ther 6 games and sit in 4th place 1 point behind 2nd were everton could end depending on results,,,,,Leaders man city have 5 wins from 5 games and there next league game is away to Everton u18s in a week, which might end on the man city academy facebook page
Think gladly youth football is moving away from those days where only the biggest and strongest for their age group got the chances.
Has anyone noticed whenever we're beating a team that fancy themselves as maybe better, the commentators are so quick to point out any player we have above puberty? So, so bitter. Who cares if Garbutt is 24 it doesn't make him any better than the 18-year old's we have. Grinds my gears when they do it.
Hmm, not sure , you’ve seen the size of the three centre backs England U17s use, Guelhi, Panzo , Latiebiere , excuse spellings. , I thought Gibson was a decent size but he cant get in the team. I’m not saying they are bad players , they’re good I’m just not sure how much is down to their size at 17.Think gladly youth football is moving away from those days where only the biggest and strongest for their age group got the chances.
...true, but by the time they’re 19 things level out a bit. I do agree that there seems a seed change in the emphasis on quality but it’s good if that is aligned with athleticism.
Not sure about who was a stand out in our team, I continue to think the Coach could be the star?
