Not a good enough defender for pl level

..I think he’s coped very well, let’s not forget City get the best available talent from around the globe, especially from an attacking perspective.

The game is far from over, City’s RB has had 2 chances himself and looks a player, but it’s been a tremendous 1st half performance regardless of what happens. I like Adeniran, goes past players like they’re standing still. What the Blues lack for attacking quality they make up for with attitude, collectiveness and organisation.

Got to disagree here; whilst Diaz is skillful he's been beaten a couple of times and then jogged after him whilst also diving in soooo often it's getting predictable hence the yellow card.

City got great individuals, we’ve got a great team that as ever Unsy has got working hard for each other. Even BAxter and Garbutt are working . Every time I see Feeney he seems just a wee bit better, decent for his age and improving steadily all the time. Last season his positioning was suspect and he was often drawn towards the ball even if the other CB was going for it . Now he’s getting himself sorted , letting Foulds go for balls where necessary and covering the space left . A good captain too.

...he’s tight to him, though. One fine last ditch tackle to put it out for a corner. Sometimes you have to accept you’ll get skinned but Garbutt has stuck to his task. It’ll be a good indication how he copes in the 2nd half. The best I played with got skinned, but never three times.

Agree, unfortunately it's in sharp contrast to the first team just as it was in Martinez's last few seasons as well.

That is some strike that!! Really hope that the floppy haired hipster can get back to the player we thought was baines’ heir apparent a couple of seasons ago.
