Good report that Andy, they're always a good read and, like boots, look better in traditional black than some fancy colour !

Barkley was my MOTM. He looked really classy.

How nice was it to just win at a canter against a team who, before kick off, were only four points behind us and are no mugs ?

More of that please Everton. We're very much work in progress, but I'm enjoying the way Koeman and his staff are slowly changing the mindset at the club.

BTW this ref, in only his 11th PL game and none of those included the Big 4 or Liverpool and only Spurs once, had a decent game. Mostly unseen in his officiating and the yellow cards were properly awarded.

By far one of the worst refs i have seen at Goodison in a long time. Could tell he is still new to the league as he refused to make any decision whatsoever, didn't know when to play advantage and seemed to do anything on delay...

Played as well as we had to, and as well as we could given the turgid display from the midlanders. Disappointed with them today, was hoping for a game off 'em given the chance to reel us in but they were woeful.

Ross for me. Would like to see him running at defenders a little more but his growing confidence and skill on the ball is great to see.
