Started to notice an alarming number of shots he saves, bounce off him back into the penalty area.

..is that a criticism? Much depends on the quality of the shot and whether he’s doing well keeping it out. I think if we see goals going in on a regular basis from him pushing out as opposed to sideways then that’s fair enough.

I have to admit to not being convinced but I do think the lad has got something about him. He might be the only bright spot from the Koeman/Walsh era.

We are hopelessly, HOPELESSLY pedestrian. Literally a group of players who can't pass and can't move. Put us under any sort of pressure on the ball and we're done.

So grim.

Anyway, gave MOTM to Oumar for the goal and for actually providing a threat on the rare occasions he was given something to run on to. Theo a close second..

Everyone else? Jesus.

Not really mate, just an observation. There was another one, he caught the shot in the his chest, but scurried well wide of his post to make the save, which was going well wide anyrate. Maybe he saw a deflection and was saving a corner, that said.

..I know what you mean. He’s the wrong shape for my idea of a keeper but this lad has got something about him. Let’s not forget, he is young. I thought his weakness would be arial but he’s been ok. Bottom line is he’s kept us in games this season.

Despite my reservations, I admit now that there’s not many i’d swap him for.

Holy wow.

We are absolutely grim.
Seeing it in person in ten times worse. You poor poor season ticket holders. I fee for you all.

My opinions are we essentially we are broken.

We have a terrible manager who picks weird teams.

But. But it is NOT his fault he puts them out there and they forget how to pass to each other.

We made West Brom...bloody West Brom dominate us.

But hey. We had about 4 shots.

Oh and we’d be idiots to sell Niasse.

I know! Mind you, if Tosun had been presented with a chance like that he'd have swept it in too.
It's just the generalising point that it shows how clueless this club is. Spend so much money aimlessly for no improvement yet the only attacker who the club don't want is the one yet again saving our arse.

This isn't negative towards tosun and Walcott, think they are both good signings considering what we had before. But what is the point in spending 50 million almost on attacking players and clearly not have any intention of playing to their strengths.

Literally compatable to signing Messi and hoofing it to him all game and complaining he isn't winning the ball. Signing hazard and telling him to drop back and cover Martina, signing de bruyne and asking him to play in front of the defence etc

Just can't be arsed with this club right now.

This time last year I wouldn’t have imagined we would be where we are - I’m shocked we’re in the top half to be honest.

But we just seem to have been dumbed down into middle table obscurity. And we get a manager in to make it look like that’s an achievement to applaud him over.

‘The project’ is no longer a selling point.
