Thought Gueye is showing some form and actually looked better when Schneiderlin went off. Mentions for Calvert-Lewin, Lennon and Kenny but Williams gets my vote. It probably suits him that we are defending deeper, he got his head and body in the way at crucial times in that match.

Martina looked better defensively again. From my seat you could hear Williams helping him (screaming at him) to get back in position, good to see us working well as a team to stay solid (minus the shocking defending for their goal).

Gana made some great interceptions and tackles tonight and I thought DCL looked decent, he's visibly improving game by game.

Nice to see us getting points despite none of the team really performing above a 7.

DCL for me. Great to see Pickford only had to make one save all game, as far as I can remember anyway, from their free kick. Shows we didn't allow them anything aside from Williams giving them an early Christmas present from their corner.
