Gueye just about for me, was everywhere like a little terrier. Honorable mentions for DCL, Williams, Sigurdsson and, believe it or not, Martina. Don't care how we win right now, as long as we do.

Gave it to Dom because he was the only player that performed in both halves (Lennon deserves a shout as well as Holgate). Lennon tailed off in the 2nd, but he provided for Kenny who won the penalty.

I've given the vote to Gana, pure class. Very closely followed by Holgate who is starting to look like a very composed CB.

While the game was far from being a classic, there were some good individual performances (other than those mentioned above).

Lennon - worked his socks off, got the first pen and looked dangerous at times.

Rooney - looked much better when he moved deeper after Morgan went off.

Kenny - was fantastic at RB, Coleman will struggle to get back in the team if Kenny keeps up this level of performance.

Siggy - fantastic goal, is starting to show some form and is now an important player in the team. It seems the lack of preseason (and the malaise of Koeman's final months) really hit him hard. He'll be just fine.

Williams - like a different player under Sam. Another good performance.

Davies - changed the game when he came on. Would rather he played alongside Gana than Schnides.

DCL - a horrible miss that he should have buried. But led the line superbly as he has been doing for a while now.

Martina - didn't do anything wrong tonight and actually looked a decent LB. Will be interesting to see if he can keep this level up or not.

Not pretty to watch on the whole, but we came back from 1-0 down to win comfortably and another three points. Not to be sniffed at. up Big Sam's Penalty Hoarding Toffees

Hoooooooooof

Another MOTM display from Captain Cuco; held the line together like a general and bombed up that flank like a young Roberto Carlos
He had again a very good game v a bottom side it's when they pile down his wing - he is in trouble a fast winger he has a harder job, but fair dos he is growing in confidence now, been a big critic of him, but it's the top teams where he will target him!

He had Salah in his pocket joe, all game. The little toad only scored when cuco had a nap (mistake on his part and he’ll admit it).

He’s clearly the best left back in the country right now, first name in the team sheet IMO
