I might be wide of the mark, and welcome to GOT by the way, but your style of posting isnt very Mancunian, in my experience.

You'd be right.

Although my family is from Prestwich originally, I was born overseas due to my old man being stationed there when in the British Army, when he was posted back to the UK, we were resettled on the south coast, I have lived down here more or less ever since.

Been going to City since I could afford to make the trips and had my season ticket barring a couple of seasons since 98/99.

But liked your point on whoever wins our tie lifts the pot.

As long as we do.

You're saying they're all thick ??

See? Long term City fan from his Dads side, but through no fault of his own, not a born and bred Mancunian.

Bit like me with Everton.

You'd be right. Family originally from Prestwich but I was actually born overseas due to my family being stationed in the Far East for 4 years, my old man was in the British Army.

Started going games as soon as I could afford to and had my season ticket since 98/99 barring a couple of seasons after I had a lengthy hospital stay.

I wasn't fussed about the League Cup the 1st time I went in 1960 - Everton 3 Walsall 1 - (Collins,Vernon,Webber) - and I'm still not. Even so, it is a semi-final and I always want Everton to win.

City are favourites, and rightly so, but anyone can win on their day this season, except Villa, and I'm fairly confident. I've been calling for
Besic and Kev' and I'm halfway there. Fingers crossed.

So my dad's done his back in today and turns out he won't be able to make the game, since we live in York he's my only way of getting there! Was just wondering if anyone knew of any blues coaches that go from in and around York, I'd even get myself to Leeds if there is one from there! If anyone knows of any contact numbers or emails that would help us out then it would be much appreciated,
Tah

I don't know for sure mate, but aren't trains from Leeds to Liverpool quite regular?
