Their goal was a disappointing one because you simply can't just back off Aguero like that. They would've stood off him for hours then, one of the 2 needed to get into him before the man he wanted had made the run, it was a pretty obvious one.

Apart from that we were superb. Barry and Besic is a thing of beauty. And Joel Robles though. That save from De Bruyne. Should be our number #1, most should see that now.

This City team really aren't playing well right now, they're right there for the taking in the second leg as well.

The problem is that they're obviously drenched with quality that can turn it on for 20/30 minutes and put the tie beyond you. Overall we have to fancy our chances of going through now, the players have got to get their mentality right and believe it's well within our grasp.

Know what your saying Pete but his odd sloppy pass gets a pass from me because he's had to be very patient to be given a run out and to get 90 minutes under his belt will do the lad the world of good. It was a bonus that he carried on his fine cameo and put in such a shift tonight and really curbed his enthusiasm at vital times.

One of the tackles on Silva I think it was where he looked caned and done a strange lunge where he traveled through time to somehow wrap his foot around the ball was superb!
 
thought that was some of the best football I've seen by us for a long time. but stil thought we needed to win at least 3-0. going to be a hard game at Etihad just need our defence to preform as they did to night.

The odd sloppy pass tonight and other matches he plays but what an effort. He chases tackles , loves playing , shows a real hunger for the game. I thought he bossed the game tonight and himself and Barry had silva and ya ya in their pockets. Silva is a top player and besic was in his honey badger mode after him
