They are one of the richest clubs in the world and serial winners, no point comparing our recent basket case recruitment to theirs.

Actually encouraged with Lampard & how the team have quickly adopted to the new set up. A moment of madness cost us with a distinct lack of quality in the top third meaning it was always going to be difficult to get back in the game.

Mina looked good before the inevitable engine failure. Tarkowski a terrific addition and gets my MoM.

Most encouraged that Lampard might be better than I thought. Encouraged.
