I think you're right. With this new substitution rule we can't afford him pulling up every match

Fans want Everton to be ruthless like a "big club" that we once were.

Part of that is putting sentiment aside and identifying the unreliables and unavailables in our squad and moving on from them...if moving them on is impossible. This applies to wasters like Mina and Alli and unfortunates like Godfrey alike.

If you want success, you need to be hard-nosed. We need at least four new players before the window closes.
