I'll pick you up on my wayIf he does 5 at the back and no wingers again he truly doesn't learn and I hope he gets sacked by the end of the day

Williams certainly isn't suited to playing against a fast and nimble front line, he'll get slaughteredI think today we have to go to war. I would love to see a back 3 with Williams, who I think this game is made for. I'd probably play Sigurdson deeper and rely on the lads work rate and effort. Keep Lookman up the sleeve for the second half. Really it's win or bust for me with Koeman today.
Hideous
The interesting thing about the 3/5 at he back (I never know which to call it) is that we never win when we play it.

We never do 3 at the back it's always a 5, I'd even call it a back 6 tbh, the way our defensive mid drops back into itThe interesting thing about the 3/5 at the back (I never know which to call it) is that we never win when we play it.
I’m expecting a veritable goalfest from us then. Are we playing for the draw...at home?We never do 3 at the back it's always a 5, I'd even call it a back 6 tbh, the way our defensive mid drops back into it
Exactly, Baines can't play the role so all we end up doing is being ridiculously narrowWing backs are usually a reasonable alternative. But they need to have proper engines on them and Baines doesn't. It could work, but it's a risk. Any selection is a risk cause we are shot for confidence.
Our best chance of scoring today may well be Pickford volleying every goalkick at their goal when the winds behind him
