Yeh you are right- I just meant that phrase 'he isnt fit to lace his boots' is kind of unfair as it implies Neill is sh1t.

I useded me wards incorrectly. Would pick Yobo over Neill all day long at centre back.

That was my point (y)

Neill was a wise signing.

Osman on for Cahill.

It's been nice to see us keep the ball on the ground, and not hoof it.
Some good performances, and I'm particularly pleased with how Gosling has coped. He is starting to look very worthy of a regular appearance, though he has spent more time playing as a right winger than a right back lol.

All is not wonderful though.

This is a very poor team tonight, and it's no wonder that we're 3-0 up, but twice they have been allowed to shoot from just outside our area.
This is really something that we have to deal with better, as against better opposition it might cause us problems like it has in the past. I suggest Rodwell stops going forward, and holds his position a little as a defensive midfielder.

Also, Jo is trying very hard, but he really needs a striking partner.

I would suggest substituting Cahill at half time, and giving Jo one, and playing with 2 up front.
Cahill has a yellow, and not worth risking a sending off.

Back to positives.

Boy, can Billy take a corner.
He has linked well with Baines and Fellaini and both our ranks look stable for the first time in a long time.

Pienaar has been masterful in his natural position, and Fellaini has been all over the park as usual, with some controlled play and clever passing.

Rodwell has been good going forward, but left out of position once or twice.

Do we now avoid injuries and take a few lads off or do we really go for it.
They haven't played one hard tackle yet so will be interesting to see what Moyes does.
