How is he any better than Peter Johnson in this respect. People accused PJ of raping the club. I don't see why the same charges shouldn't be levelled at Kenwright. He has got away with blue murder for far too many years.

because he's a blue mate simple fact our fans need to take big blame for Kenwrights shenanigans

Awful. Midfield completely overrun.

A friend texted me and I stupidly read his text, and knew we had lost. I sat down to watch any way. Torture.

Neville was awful. No control of the middle of the pitch. The back pass was woeful, but beyond that, he truly looked like an old man today. The tackle that earned him a yellow was awful, his getting burned was awful. And he cannot complete even simple forward passes now. Moyes. For the love of god, Neville's time is DONE. You saw it in Cahill, could you please for the love of everything holy see it in Phil.

Poor Seamus. When I watched I was trying to figure out why he was left alone on the right. He had a bad day, but we were so narrow that he essentially was playing RM and RB by himself. Not a recipe for success, and turns out, a recipe for disaster. He was repeatedly burned on that side.

The jogging by Fellaini and Osman was disheartening. They looked gassed and out to lunch. Kudos to Baines, Mirallas and Pienaar, who worked their assess off while some around them were not putting in enough effort.

We need reinforcements, and we are not getting them until summer. It's going to be along remaining few weeks, and I fully expect us to finish 6th. Just out of reach aka. Such a bummer. Such a disheartening, stupid bummer.

Thing is Johnson ended up taking a lot lower price for the club than he was asking just to get out. BK should do the same but I suspect Earl & Green want to see a profit on their investment which leaves him buggered.

Couldnt agree more. I think its time for a change but lets not forget the magnificent job he has done for Everton. Been a credit and took us to another level but without the investment he craves I dont think his heart is truly at everton anymore. Thats only my opinion but for me, thats why he wanted this cup so much, so seal his tenure with a trophy. Just gutted the players couldnt do it for him, and for us fans.

Oh FFS. Getting really wound up by some posts.

Moyes if he stays or goes can be proud of the job he has done for us- we were on our ass being saved on last days of the season struggling season after season. He turned that around, we now compete at the top end of the table every season.

Maybe he had taken us far as he can and for us to go further without investment then a change may be needed. It's going to be a gamble because with our resources we shouldn't be where we are in the league- it's Moyes management that had got us there.

People calling him a c**t, tosser, etc etc have VERY short memories or live their football lives through football manager. We are broke, we have to replenish the squad by selling at a profit players that Moyes has bought. We are a different level to where he took over with a squad full of quality- Fellaini, Baines, Jags, Jelavic, Gibson, Mirallis are all players that he had bought.

Think he needs a bit more respect to be honest, if he goes then he does with his head held high in my opinion. People forget the level we were before he took over. I just hope we don't drop to that level after he leaves. I think we will find out next season.

I agree with what you're saying here. He's been fabulous for us up until this past year or two.

It's time for a change.

Spot on all of this.

The worst performance I've ever been a part of as an evertonian. I'm 35 and this one doesn't hurt, it disappoints, and embarrasses the club, it ruins moves work, he will be remembered as a failure, ad grunch mentions,

he will be remembered as winning nothing, and bottling big games. Every single year.

enough

yes i agree moyes will always have a place in my heart as he stopped the rot big time!

but i will also remember moyes by what should have been.

and i will bet anyone now that moyes with out everton YES MOYES WITHOUT EVERTON will fail!!!

At the risk of sounding overly dramatic here, I don't think I've been as sad watching Everton play in my 15-20 years. I've been dejected before, angry, fatalistic, but never this sad.
I think it's the final death knell for Moyes actually. It felt like the end today. That 5 minute spell was as shambolic as I've ever seen us. All at sea.

I'd rather not make Europe if we can't field a decent squad. Not just the first team mind, a proper squad that will allow for rotations.
