Problems with today and also our team:
Neville over Gibson? I'd rather play heitinga at centre midfield than neville.
Outdated tactics. Wigan kept their wingers up when we went forward, so they could counter.
Defence. Heitinga is too small to be a centre back. The full backs and wingers let too many crosses in, and then our centre backs can't head it away.
Attack: We only have three strikers, and they aren't that good.
Fellaini's attitude: We were crap, get on with it and don't give up.
Taking Kevin off: Why?? He was one of our best players today (but that wasn't hard)
Long balls: We don't have Cahill, and we have one player (who isn't a defender) who can head the ball.
Money: We can't blame ourselves for this, but we need to appeal more to potential buyers.

Is this the end of Moyes at Everton?

It has to be. I couldn't stand the thought that he might decide to sign another contract. To think there is just a chance that he might decide to stay put for yet another five years. I repeat .... I COULD'NT STAND IT!

When we were behind. Our CB kept hoofing but the pass were inaccurate. Even Fellaini was not playing AM we still hoof it. And it is not too bad if Tim Cahill is still here. At least we have more option and he knows how to defend the corner (attack the ball and head it away).

I would have loved to have seen what Moyes could have done with decent funding, but it ain't going to happen under Kenwright, who has turned selling the Club from a short story into an unending saga. I doubt if Moyes will stay now, and tbh it's probably best that he moves on from both sides. That way Kenwright might finally be hounded out. No doubt Kenwright has been hoping for some fairytale romance in the Cup, but sorry mate, that doesn't happen very often, you need hard cash, and it's something you haven't got and have failed miserably to find us.

Notes to Moyes for the rest of the season:
1. Tell the squad that you NEVER backpass in your own half except as a last resort. They obviously haven't learned from the Distin incident in last year's campaign.
2. Teach the squad how to pass.
3. Teach the squad how to take their man on when the pass isn't on.*
4. Teach the front men and midfielders what and where ROUTE 1 is.
5. Drop Jelavic into the reserves where he might find his scoring touch again. It's time to give Ross Barkley a decent outing.
6. Tell Kenwright that you're fed up trying to get the Club silverware on a shoestring.

* Ok, forget about no. 3 because there isn't the quality there. Thanks Drenthe.

PS. KENWRIGHT OUT.

Between Heitinga , Mucha and Neville i fear most what Neville could cost us -
Wigan is stronger in attack than in defense - Neville is going to have his work cut out for him -
hope our def mids do not leave the back 4 unprotected -

then we will have mucha to worry about the heightinga of our defenders ........

playing Neville today above Gibson or Hitzelsperger proved to be our undoing just like i predicted -
Wigan based their whole gameplan on our irreplacable Captain Consistantly Useless Neville !!!!
that was obvious after 5 minutes as 90% of Wigan attacks came down their left hand side -
where Captain Useless donated them acres of space and a beautifull assist as well -
the fact that Moyes failed to notice and rectify that just clearly illustrated his lack of insight and tactical abillity-
Moyes's love affair with Neville has now become the albatross around his neck like i predicted months ago -
our def mids or rather lack thereof cost us the game today

If Drenthe is here means we have more option but we don't. Drenthe can take on player.
