No such thing as a toxic atmosphere at Goodison anymore. Every game at home now is just a no atmosphere. Players come out to a polite round of applause then it falls silent until/if we score there is a poor attempt to sing when we're winning but usually not for long. Even the night match derby at home last season was flat.

That was the worst and most boring game.of football I've ever witnessed. Fell asleep in my seat at the ground in the first half, and that was the better half.

Agree with this line-up, they have absolutely nothing to threaten us with regards to counter attacks and so forth and they are even worse than we are in possession so surely we want as many of our creative players on the pitch as possible. They are a threat from set pieces but you'd like to think we can limit the amount of chances we will give them from those.

Shame about the left back though.

I’m hoping we start quite attack minded, but I have a feeling we will be a our regular selves;

for the first 60 minutes, keep it to 0-0, then sub Walcott on for Rooney, move sigurdsson to the middle and try to attack them for the last half hour. If they score early the change might happen at half time instead.

I think this is a big game for us though, we need to stop the slide
