Did that performance show enough for Allardyce to give Keane a chance next to Holgate next time out? What a horrible situation we're in to have one promising youngster - and that's all Holgate is at the moment - two has-beens who are awful, and Keane who looks like a nightmare signing, to choose from at centre back. Then your third choice right back at left back, and another promising youngster who is going through a terrible run of form at right back. Is it any surprise we can't win any games?

Add to that the utter, utter crab Schneiderlin in midfield, even Gueye when he plays as he refuses to pass the ball forwards, and you see why our midfield is ought-fought every single game. Gareth Barry ran the show today in the middle of the park.

Vlasic didn't show anything, Walcott looked good and no striker in the world is going to impress in this team, so cannot comment on Tosun. Feel sorry for the guy. Rooney did more harm than good when he game on, and Bolasie is pathetic, I won't waste my breath on him. If the manager cannot see this then he'll take us down.

We deserve to be in the bottom three. I cannot see us picking up wins any time soon and if the teams below us pick up a victory or two we'll be in 15/16th place in no time. I'd say our chances of staying up are about 50/50 at the moment, especially since the manager cannot be arsed signing a left back or a centre back which we're absolutely crying out for.

Williams was by far the better of the two today. Keep them together - we need a stable back two.

2 x culls required.
1st one needs to be by the mods on here, get rid of all the [Poor language removed] heads, have a look at some of the comments offered when McCarthy broke his leg, should ban them for life.
2nd cull needs to be within Goodison in the summer I would only keep 2 or 3. If at all.

People commenting on mcarthy? I havnt seen anything . Hope you're wrong like

Why do we constantly hoof the ball up when our tallest striker is only 6' why can't we defend despite always playing 2 holding mids, why do we still look slow in attack when we have (on paper) a relatively rapid front line now, and why is our passing pathetic in the final third?

We really need to sack Sam, and get in a manager who thinks outside the box a bit. Steve Walsh needs to be sacked too, the useless clown. I really hate where the club's at currently, we're becoming a joke club like Newcastle. We have some moron of a owner saying stupid things all the time, a dinosaur of a manager, and absolute garbage playing staff.

frustratingly poor , Kenny looks overworked , cuco is crap , Williams is a liability and our center midfield is clueless.
so many players who are just wrong for what we need.

Great Rooney, Walcott and Niasse goal.

How was Tosun? I think someone said, he would be our new topscore, during the week.

Is he a talent? Or how is he?

Dross relegation football at its best - special mention for Bollassie did nothing - need lookman in the team and Tom Davies !
That Tosun looks as bad as Sandro did?
Steve Walsh strikes again as Niassie looks better than both as does DCL that those two signings!
Can't say that because no striker in the world would look any better. At least Tosun doesn't run around like a headless chicken, and that's the difference between those two I'd say.

I wasn't one of these people who was raging when we signed Allardyce. I thought it could work and was prepared to give him a chance, I'd even go as far as to say I was "cautiously optimistic".

ABSOLUTE LOLZ @ ME!

am the same here mush....

its not exactly going to plan.
