There's a lot resting on this match. It's hard to be confident and I'm just glad it's being played in November and not April.
I think this game dictates a hell of a lot. There's a lot resting on this match. It's hard to be confident and I'm just glad it's being played in November and not April.
A win is vital today and the way we play to achieve such a victory don't really concern me: right now a victory at all costs is what we need.
Nevertheless, as others have mentioned, I feel the players have somewhat got off lightly from criticism so they need to show tenacity today.
We need to get into them from the start, build the crowds support with crunching tackles and play at a much, much higher tempo.
We'll lose this 1-2. Potato head to score first, Watford to break our hearts in final 20 minutes.
Spot on, let's just get 3 points don't care how it happens.I am not
I have seen then enough this season to know exactly how gash we are
Although I don’t think we are as “talentless” as you suggest.
It is just I ain’t running scared of Watford.
You said in your previous post they were “in form”.
Not really.
I have just checked and they have taken four points from their last four games, have lost their last two, the last match they played they lost at home to Stoke.
No sir.....nowt to cower in the corner from with Watford coming.
But look, I am sure you would love to see nowt more than us having a go tomorrow and winning comfortably.....and I most certainly will settle for your hypothetical keep it tight for 90 minutes and score from a set piece in the 93rd minute.
Just as long as we get the three points![]()
Why wouldn't a manager (Koeman or Unsworth) give Lookman starts based on his performances coming on as a sub, when they can see the club are lacking any attacking threat on the pitch? From what I've seen of him, he's the only player who's confidence has not been affected like all of the rest.
Age - 20 - That's not too young.
Inexperience - Do his greater attributes outweigh his weaker attributes? I think so.
What am i missing? (serious responses only please).
It's how were set up.Our defence is poor but I don't think there is an overall lack of talent compared to the bottom 13 clubs in the league. We lack organisation and our confidence is rock bottom. Even without a decent striker we should be able to find a system that sees us comfortably around midtable.
The biggest challenge for any new manager will be instilling a bit of confidence in the team.
