First half excellent. Gana playing a more box to box role and siggy and the two mistakes for goals were only weak points.

Second half Sandro not good enough - sell. Coleman kept pointing to watch his man, he ignored and terrible first touch/ pass led to goal.

Davies was also poor and shows we need another midfielder.

Cenk, Walcott, Rico, Coleman, gana and even snides impressed in first half.

We played football, looked tidy and fit and players knew their roles.

Second half was a non event and two minutes extra is a waste of time.

This will be controversial but I actually thought Keane and Jags were decent today. First goal mostly on Baines and the third is a horrid giveaway by Sandro and poor by Seamus

Keane had a decent second half, but looked iffy first half hour or so.

Jags is still our best cb by far, which considering he’s 56, is very worrying.

First half was good, 2nd half meh and a disappointing pre season overall. Look good attack wise but leaking goals left right and centre and most self inflicted. Got to bring in reinforcements before Thursday.

It's not been that bad, we've had a few barbecues and a couple of short breaks away, plus it's hardly rained. Overall, a good preseason.

Doesn't mean he isn't crap.

And he still wasn't league 2 standard which is what the post is saying.

If you look at all the strikers playing for premier league clubs this season then Calvert-Lewin will be in the top 50%. And that is as a 21 year old who is still developing his game. Most of those below him are already as good as they will get.

Really good we aren't in Europe. We basically have 14 useful players in the squad. Injury luck is going to play a big role in the season. Gana especially can't have is traditional hamstring strain

Thats the thing this window. No one is arguing between position A versus position B as more important to fill, nor much player A versus player B. Its plain as day that those two positions are the key. If we have to settle on one cos of time/money, not sure which I would prefer fixing.
