We've got no excuses whatsoever for this game. Spurs are carrying a few injuries, and have a massive derby game midweek where you would think they couldn't afford to rest anyone.

We have no excuses not to go out to win but as far as I'm concerned, we've gone out to try and win every game so far this season.

We didn't play well enough in the last two home games and got punished. But I've no doubt that we'll go out with the intention to win this one.

Fact is, if we play at our best and Spurs play at their best, they'll win. They're a better team. It's not an excuse, it's a fact.

I also think Poch will prioritise the league over the cup, mate. Not sure it being a derby means too much...

Not at all saying I don't expect us to be up for it. I do, and I think we will be. Just don't really get the 'no excuses' shout?

There's probably going to be changes whatever - both in system and in personnel, and those will be needed.

You have to balance goal threats with creativity. I love Richarlison but he only gives us the goal threat currently so him and DCL may leave us short of creators is my concern.

Disagree. Richarlison and DCL can both create chances, they had plenty of assists each last season. In this team it’s hard for Richarlison to get many assists when he’s one of the only players capable of scoring.

I've got no doubt we'll go out and have a go Toff. What I meant was that if we happen to be piss poor, and get beat convincingly (not in score, but more in performance) and criticism follows from lads, then there can't be none of this "Look how much they've spent" "They're 3rd in the league, what do you expect" etc, etc, etc, etc, as I said, considering they have injuries, and a full on derby midweek there can be no excuses.

Considering Arsenal embarrassed them a couple weeks ago I highly doubt Poch is gonna risk repeating an embarrassment in a semi-final of a cup and he will go with a close to full strength side.

We could do with Gueye back in and the Michael keane that started the season.
