There was chatter that James was struggling with a minor problem prior to the Leeds Utd game. If I recall correctly, he was on the bench but never actually featured in the match, so it could have been true. If there was a problem it may have been aggravated against Man Utd, although not as aggravated as I am about the number of games he's been missing

I have been following James long enough to tell you that his calf injuries aggravate me greatly, they happen more often than my own liking. However, he is not to be blamed when the body doesn't want to cooperate. James is very competitive type of footballer and I bet he is very upset that he can't play tonight. Let's hope he recovers for Sunday's match.

Given current form I think that's probably our first choice back line at least. They should be able to provide good solidity which gives us every chance of getting a result. Proper Italian football with centre halves everywhere.

I just hope we don't need to change things up late on.
