Rooney has to be this composed if he is going to succeed. He has to make up for his lack of physical limitations, and he has surely done that so far. Great job holding up the ball and his turns are exquisite when on point. I do think we look flaccid up top with him, but we got the goal. That is all that matters.

Why is schneiderlin not making space for himself to receive a pass? Few times there I noticed he didn't want to come into space. He's the link from defence to attack.
