I think Vic will play though so he could play 2 up top, you can afford to against Stoke because of their central midfield. Stoke will probably target our right hand side.
I reckon if he plays at all, we could see Neville at right back pushing Coleman on.

Stoke will play direct to their centre forwards and down the channels for Walters, not much tactically you can do about that. Just have to deal with the 2nd ball and close Walters out as he retrieves it. I think they'll be cautious of Baines, but if they can get a half dozen good crosses in from their left then they'll fancy their chances.

For this game, Neville and Coleman on the right might not be a bad idea, so long as Seamus goes back to full back for the next one.

Hate Moyes' approach to these type of games, he always tries to match them, keep the big players on for set pieces, play for percentages, have strikers running the channels... Basically descends to their level and we're usually woeful. He just doesn't learn.
I expect Jagielka and Howard back in, Anichebe upfront with Neville and Naismith in midfield. It will be punted long all game and it'll end a drab and dull 0-0 draw.

ESPN really have taken the piss showing 50% of liverpool's games and stocking their studio with a squad of ex-kopites and the one token game, the first time they have us on all season and they choose Stoke at home. Bastards

I´m very pessimistic about this to be honest. It´s these games we haven´t been able to win all season.

I fear the man city win has left everyone feeling a bit too good about themselves. Reckon we´ll play cautiously until we concede from a set piece or a long diagonal to the far post. Then get a hard fought equaliser from a Baines or maybe Osman in the 2nd half.
