Hes a quality player but obvs needs an arm on his shoulder...constantly. If he can stay fit.....we have....a player......oh

Not really.

Baines has not looked like this since his injury in Martinez's second season; he might have looked like it if he had any pressure on him (ie: if Martinez hadn't dropped Galloway the moment he became fit) but he didn't. He hasnt had any threat to his position until we signed Digne, and now we are seeing the old Baines who was one of the best LB in the league. We should have done this ages ago.
